Katharine Mocciola, PsyD | Licensed Clinical Psychologist | PSYPACT ProviderCBT-I • Trauma Therapy • Anxiety TreatmentThe Silent Struggle
Many people carry significant emotional burdens that aren't visible to others, feeling tense, overwhelmed, or depleted beneath the surface.
You may be:
Lying awake with racing thoughts
Waking throughout the night and feeling exhausted before the day begins
Carrying anxiety that stays in the background or surges in waves
Feeling the lasting impact of experiences you can’t quite shake
Managing so much for others that there’s little space left for yourself
These experiences can be painful. They are also treatable.
You don’t have to navigate this alone.
Therapy offers a space to understand what’s happening beneath the surface, work through long-standing patterns, and create meaningful, sustainable change. Together, we can help you work toward greater clarity, balance, and relief.

Insomnia and Sleep Therapy (CBT-I)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) is considered the gold-standard treatment for chronic insomnia.
CBT-I can help with:
Difficulty falling asleep
Frequent nighttime waking
Racing thoughts at bedtime
Stress-related sleep disruption
Chronic insomnia
Sleep-related anxiety
The goal is not simply more sleep, but more consistent, restorative sleep that improves daytime energy, focus, and emotional balance.
Trauma Therapy and PTSD Treatment (CPT)
Trauma can continue to affect the nervous system long after difficult experiences have ended.
I specialize in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), one of the most effective treatments for PTSD.
I work with adults navigating:
PTSD and complex trauma
Childhood or medical trauma
Sleep disruption related to trauma
Emotional numbing, irritability, or hypervigilance
Anxiety related to past experiences
Therapy focuses on helping you feel safer internally, reduce reactivity, and reconnect with daily life.
Anxiety Therapy
Anxiety can show up as chronic worry, overthinking, perfectionism, panic symptoms, tension, irritability, or difficulty being fully present.
These patterns are often learned responses to stress - not personal flaws.
In therapy, we work on:
Reducing chronic worry and overthinking
Managing burnout and emotional exhaustion
Decreasing self-criticism and perfectionism
Building practical tools for steadiness and resilience
